Recently, I’ve seen a number of examples of people having fun with Google search results, and I decided to have a little fun myself. Basically, I’ve taken the beginning of a simple question (e.g. “Do Mennonites _______?”) and let the Google auto-complete feature suggest three or four ways to finish it. Then I’ve put the results together in a Venn diagram.

At first, I thought I’d try religious faiths (Amish, Mennonite, Brethren, Quaker, Anabaptist, etc.), but Google didn’t have results for all of them. So then I added in things that might describe me (scientist, blogger). Voila! Venn diagram #1.

Then I decided to do pets.

And then I decided to stop before things got carried away.
