I wish that you had a general comments section, cause I wanted to leave a comment, so I will put it here in this comment section. One of this fan’s favorite sections of this blog is the Five for Friday section. My hope is that something will still show up today, but seeming that it looks like a play date happened at the house, the likelihood of any coherency for Exhausted(mostly) is likely not possible. So, I would like to suggest a guest appearance for the Five For Friday column. Without further ado:
Five for Friday: One fan’s recommendation list for the next five weeks:
1. In honor of “Valentines Day,” the five attributes of Ordinary(spouse) that you adore most. No, this can’t be a Fifty for Friday column, but you can go to six if you need to. I should also but in a disclaimer for O(s), namely that just because O(m) would write five, it doesn’t mean there can’t be more.
2. Five haiku’s commenting on the Gospel readings for the first five weeks of Lent. If you find that the 5-7-5 structure of the haiku is too limiting, saucy limericks would also be accepted.
3. Five quirky habits/practices of your in-law’s family. Maybe I don’t want to know this, but it would at least create some interesting dialog. If you can’t think of five, try three. If not three, there may be one that you can find. Just a guess.
4. Five favorite words from work that are more than five syllables and need lots of technical explanations. Unfortunately wordpress may not have an equation editor with sufficient power to enable you to fully explain the concepts. Footnotes and references would be appreciated.
5. The five best (worst) geocaches that you have ever found. What and where were they? What made them superior (infinitely inferior) to all others?

At least I can still ‘read’ your thoughts, even though they aren’t on your own blog.

Great! So now we have a place to leave our own 5-for-Fridays. Here are 5 random things that I liked about today:
1. No one woke me up this morning.
2. the Plainfield Public Library.. I love how I just order up books online from anywhere in Illinois and they wait for my convenience on the hold shelf at the circulation desk.
3. shopping at Aldi. I know exactly where everything is and there are only 4 aisles.
4. Ballet class. I really love this. Very very much! Soft pleasant music, dim lighting and lots of hard work.
5. Six children happily eating supper without complaining.
Looks like today was a good day.

Thanks for the kind mention! I am always cheered to find readers who may differ with some of my views but can hear and consider the message.
Best wishes,
Clay

Two things–
Isn’t it about time for another poll?
Also, did you get my comment on last year’s book group page that I would like you to get this year’s in order?

Two answers:
1) Yes – it’s time for another poll. I’ll get working on that. Maybe something suitable for my niece and daughters.
2) I did get your comment and was greatly confused, since I thought that there was already a page. It turns out that the page existed, but I had made it private while I did some edits. Well, the edits didn’t get completed, but I’ve made the page visible again so that you can comment.
You’ll find the page here:
