The licorice poll
I haven’t had a poll for a while. An unfortunate encounter this evening inspired this one…
A seasonal poll
It’s been a while since the last poll, so it’s time for a new one. This one is easy, but if the answers don’t apply to your current locale, feel free to add your own.
P.S. If you’re so inclined, leave some comments explaining your choice!
The important silverware question
It has been nearly three months since my last poll. In keeping with tradition, I continue to ask the questions that matter. The questions that are important. The questions like this one:
Water survey
Over Thanksgiving, I was discussing water with Ordinary Spouse and my in-laws, and was astounded to discover that they prefer soft water for bathing, showering, and washing clothes. Their argument (if I recall correctly) was that soft water requires less soap. My preference had always been for hard water, because I liked the “squeaky clean” feeling of things washed in hard water.
So I’d like to hear from you (and feel free to add comments explaining your reasoning).
The pet poll
Jack would like to know…
Ed. note:
Ha! This is rich! The first two votes were both ‘other’:
- Husband
- Gecko
The all-important toilet paper poll
The tissue issue…
The roll poll…
Some of my very loyal and long-time readers may remember this poll from a previous personal web space. Feel free to answer again!
Ordinary Spouse wondered if there should be an option for choosing two answers; for example, “out front” and “why are you asking”. I said, “If you have to ask ‘why are you asking’, then your opinion isn’t important in this poll.”
There is a new, ordinary poll page
I’ve added an archive for polls! Basically, this page is destined to become another seldom-used page, just like ‘Book Club’, ‘Messages’, and ‘About’. But, hey – if you missed one of my exciting polls and you’d still like to let your voice be heard, go visit the poll archive.
Woo hoo! Polls!!!
That’s right faithful readers! I’ve figured out how to put polls into my blog. This could become a regular part of your ordinary (mostly) experience! (The excitement is almost palpable!)
But I need to hear from you. How often do you want a new question?
(Ed. note: for those of you who saw this entry when it was first published, our next poll may be on common grammar or spelling mistakes.)
